Yangon cowboy (and other pictures) (YSP #4)

Cowboy hats are not a common sight in Yangon; he told me that he wears it because he is an admirer of all things American.

Thanaka, a natural sunscreen made from tree bark, is far more common. She sells bird food for passersby to give to the nearby hordes of pigeons.

Those first two photos are intense. I like the old mane with sunglasses too. Great portraits. Have you written a post comparing and contrasting Hanoi and Yangon from a photography perspective yet?

Thanks, Jeff. I haven’t written a post comparing the two cities yet, but I would like to. It’s a big subject though!
