    Amazing! I am really enjoying your photography. It sure tells us a lot about the culture and people’s lives.

      That’s thanaka, it’s a paste made from, I think, tree bark. People here wear it as a natural sunscreen, and just for decoration.

    They’re wonderful….such a change from my daily life, it’s refreshing. And it reassures me that not very corner has become totally westernized, not yet.

    I really like that last image. There is something mysterious about it, maybe because part of her head is hidden. I like the guy with the leg tattoos too. He looks interesting.
