Hanoi street portraits (#107)
In my last couple of posts, I tried to show something about the daily lives of the people in the narrow neighbourhoods between the dyke road and the Red River. I hope those pictures have a sense of place. The pictures in this post, taken in those same neighbourhoods, however, are all about faces and, I hope, character.

Very moving series… Great!!! 🙂
Great portraits. The lady in the third picture down, what a great image. I take it Jon you are a resident of North Vietnam? My daughter works in Saigon, so we have visited the country many times.
Thanks! Yes, I live in Hanoi. I spent a year living in Saigon, back in 2012, but I must say that I prefer the north.
