In these hot and humid Hanoi afternoons, sensible folk take shelter in the shade with a cold drink. Foolish people wander about taking photographs.

Ha, ha…yes, I have often gotten those “Foolish people wander about taking photographs” looks before and usually leads to great conversations later. Another strong series of portraits (as with yesterday), really a gift you have of bring out the spirit of people.
The encounters I have with people are a really important part of photography for me, even if conversation is limited by the language barrier. I couldn’t have one without the other.
Couldn’t agree more…behind a camera, allows me to look, see and learn so much more. Cheers.
